Fundraiser and Blood Drive at Big
Apple Pizza
(Ft. Pierce, FL April 23, 2012)
– Joey Yannucci was critically injured in a deadly school
bus crash March 26 and he has a long road to recovery. The
11-year-old Frances K. Sweet Elementary student is in intensive
care with serious head injuries. The Van Duzer Foundation is
holding a benefit drive and fundraiser for the Yannucci
family.
A blood drive with Florida’s Blood
Centers will be held in conjunction with the benefit. The blood
given at the blood drive will go to help ill and injured patients
in local hospitals. Because blood is type matched to
patients, donations will not be necessarily directed to Joey
Yannucci.
